    Coverage: Some Full Text
    Art Abstracts provides comprehensive indexing and abstracts for more than 450 international art publications, including periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins. Indexing spans from 1984 to the present.

  • Off-campus access restricted to UMBC Students, Faculty and Staff Alternative Press Index [API] Learn how to use this resource

    Coverage: Some Full Text
    API is a bibliographic database of journal, newspaper, and magazine articles from over 300 international alternative, radical, and left periodicals. API coverage is both international and interdisciplinary. Coverage begins in 1991.
    Paper index available from 1971-1991 in Reference. UMBC holds the Alternative Press backfile in Special Collections.

    Coverage: Index Only
    Multidisciplinary database covering the Arts & Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences. Indexes over 8,000 high impact research journals, many of them peer-reviewed, and provides access to cited and citing references.     Indexes approximately 85 periodicals from around the world. Access is by name of the film

  • reference book The Times. (London). 1906 - present.
    Location: REF INDEX
    From 1906 to 1962, access is under the term cinematograph. From 1963, access is under the term films. For reviews from 1990 to the present, use Lexis Nexis Academic listed above in the Full Text Reviews section
