OCNA Board Meeting

March 5, 2007

Present: Valerie Androutsopoulos, Kelby Draper, Mabelle Thomas, Cathy Sidlowski, Kirby Spencer,

Cheryl Wasmund, Larry Wilt

Meeting began at 7:15

Minutes from January meeting were reviewed and accepted.

Treasurer’s Report: Robert was not able to attend; Kirby reported that there were probably no major changes since January.

Yard sale: Saturday, April 21. Cheryl will check with Ellen about signs (post note: Ellen has one sign and will order one more to replace one stolen last year)

Clean Up: Saturday, April 28. Valerie reported we have five dumpsters; Robert will get chipper. Valerie will arrange with Cathy to get a flyer for both yard sale and clean up in upcoming newsletter. She will then do a follow up flyer in mid-April as a reminder- get to block reps to distribute. Will also put up notices on poles, but not until after yard sale is over.

Police Contact: Cheryl still trying to reach Officer Bury to attend OCNA board meetings.

Energy Co-Op Meeting: Kirby reported on status of upcoming (March 8, 2007) meeting. She indicated there is a lot of interest. Article in Times was good advertisement. If this goes through we will be first residential co-op in Maryland. She has received call from other areas for information. (Post note- meeting March 8, 2007 very well attended. There was a good interest and numerous people signed up at meeting. Have until April 15, 2007 to enroll.)

Cheryl reported that the Maryland National Road Association is having their annual 187 mile long yard sale from May 28 to June 1, 2007.
