Contains clippings, photographs and sketches, one from as early as1752. Clippings include a series from a Baltimore newspaper entitled "I Remember…," that shows what was happening in Baltimore either 50 or 100 years prior, articles on the role of the MSPCA in protecting horses, and a series on how Baltimore streets were named.

Obituaries and photos of noted Marylanders; photos and articles on commercial businesses in Baltimore, including a hand-written paper on the first ice making plant in the U. S., which was located in Maryland. A typed paper entitled, "Railroad blow your horn!" which was an address given by Olive W. Dennis, research engineer for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, October 9, 1947. Photos and articles on the waterfront, harbor, pleasure ships and other things having to do with Baltimore's waterfront.

Series 2: Ledger pages

Dates: 1968-1943
Size: 1 items

A ledger entitled "News fro the press, Out of the Past, Into the Present year 1868 to the present (1943)." Ledger is inscribed with having been printed by Bohemian Printing. Included is poetry clipped from newspapers as well as hand-written original poetry from the 1800s by members of the Keefer family. Various news stories and illustrations, including topics such as: death; hypnosis; spiritualism; superstitions; occult; ghosts; authors; actors; theater; astrology; Ulysses S. Grant's illness prior to death; churches; Native Americans; Francis Scott Key; the abdication of the Duke of Windsor; cartoons; Governor Albert Ritchie; and John D. Rockefeller.
