The collection consists of approximately 100,000 slides. Seventy percent are in the Slide Library Database.
BORROWING
UMBC faculty and staff may borrow slides for a two-week loan period. UMBC students may borrow slides for class use, with written permission from a faculty member, for one day. Slides may be recalled if needed by another patron.
FACILITIES
Located in Fine Arts 216, the Slide Library offers large viewing tables to preview slides.
Equipment needed to project the slide images on the UMBC campus may be obtained from Audio-Visual Services.
