Slide Library

Collection

The collection consists of approximately 100,000 slides. The majority of the slides are digitized and searchable through the Slide Library Database and the remainder will be added to the online collection over the coming months.

Borrowing

UMBC faculty and staff may borrow slides for a two-week loan period. UMBC students may borrow slides for class use, with written permission from a faculty member, for one day. Slides may be recalled if needed by another patron.

Facilities

Located in Fine Arts 216, the Slide Library offers light beds to preview slides.
