Submitting Electronic Documents for Electronic Reserves

  1. Whenever possible, please submit class lecture notes, homework, solutions, quizzes or exam files directly in electronic format.


  2. Each file submitted must match a corresponding entry in UCORES. Binders of class materials and other collections of documents must be broken down by providing individual files for each document submitted.


  3. Options for submitting electronic documents:

  4. · Floppy disks or CDs may be used to submit files to the Circulation Department

    · Files may be sent by email as attachments to michaed@umbc.edu

  5. When submitting the files, please attach the Reserve Ticket to the media. In the case of e-mailed files, indicate the names of the files, the course number, instructor name, and the program used to create the document or electronically attach the Reserve Ticket to the same e-mail as the attached reading.


  6. Acceptable file formats:
  7. · MS Word (.doc)

    · PDF (Portable Document Format)

    · Word Perfect (.wpd)

    · Power Point (.ppt)

    · Text files (.txt)


We can accept Macintosh files ONLY if they are saved on a PC compatible disk. Other formats may be acceptable, please contact us.
