Add a Course

Selecting Add a Course will display the following screen:

  1. Fill in all fields on this screen as listed in the course catalog.

  2. The Number of Students field should contain the number of students registered for this specific course/section. If you don't know this number, please make a reasonable estimate.

  3. When finished, click on the Submit button. The course is now available in your Show Courses listing.

Add a Cross Listing

If this course is cross-listed with another course in the catalog, you can add the cross-listing information from the Show Courses screen. By adding a cross-listing to a course it will allow students to find the reserves for that class in multiple locations.

Choose Add/delete a cross-listing and the following screen will display:

Cross-listings may be added to any course. This function allows two courses taught by the same professor at the same time to share a common reserve reading list. This is often used when a course is listed as both an undergraduate and a graduate course in the course catalog or when a course is listed in two or more different departments.
