The A-to-Z Journal List is your one-stop search tool for all of our print and electronic journal subscriptions. With this easy-to-navigate, searchable list of journals you can quickly find any journal or resource, even those buried in a database. Search for books, CDs, DVDs, and journal articles all at the same time (items available at UMBC will appear at the top of the list). WorldCat UMBC searches for books, CDs and DVDs in library catalogs worldwide while also searching for journal articles in several article databases, including ArticleFirst, ERIC, MEDLINE, and more. Some features are restricted to current UMBC students, faculty and staff only.

Special Collections
The Special Collections Department includes those materials that due to rarity, condition, form, or source are best handled separately from the General Collection. Collections include:
- Photograph collections
- Pulp fiction collections
- Radical literature collection

Slide Library
The collection, consisting of approximately 100,000 slides, includes Art History and Archaeology, with an emphasis on painting, sculpture, architecture, drawing, photography, graphics, graphic design, manuscripts, ceramics and Greek pots ranging from pre-historic to modern-day.
