Library Information Technology Services
Library Information Technology Services (LITS) advances and promotes a technology-rich environment for both internal and external users. We aim to enhance online access to Library resources and services, and strengthen communication, collaboration, and outreach. More on LTS goals and objectives.
Computing Resources
LITS provides and supports the computing resources (hard- and software) in the Library. There are about 250 computers spread through all seven floors. We also support the printing system (Pharos) and network and wireless access.
Information Technology (IT)
LITS is involved in various projects and initiatives to enhance online access to information and electronic/digital resources as well as use of IT in the Library. Some initiatives include implementing blogs and wikis, access via mobile/handheld devices, and digitization projects to build up local collections. More on Library IT projects.
