  The collection documents Kuhn's employment in the University System of Maryland including his involvement with the College Park, Baltimore County, and Baltimore campuses. Kuhn served as a professor, administrator, chancellor, and advisor during his tenure and this collection reflects the breadth of his involvement. The development of UMBC was overseen by Kuhn and he served as the campus's first chancellor and both of these roles are extensively covered.
